Our Birth

M/s Hardik Herbals is an industrial Unit intends to manufacture and sale of herbal drinking water and other herbal products and beverages. This helps people for thirst quenching and to stay healthy in their routine stressful life with the support of traditional Ayurveda knowledge and scientific process/packaging technology in this new age era. The product is traditional in use and innovative in application.

The Concept

The concept is to give ready to drink (instant) natural herbal beverages to the mass to cater them to feel as if it is their grandmother’s traditional recipe by the scientific approach. All our products are directly and indirectly developed and processed by natural means by applying ayurvedic/herbal ingredients with no chemical usage which directly or indirectly helps people to have a healthy lifestyle.

“Paaniyam praaninam praanaha”, Water bestows the Vitality of life. Water is rightly considered as “Elan vital” for the complete blossoming of the human health. It is understood that the human body is anywhere from 55% to 78% water depending on body size.Every system in the human body depends on water.

Analyzing today’s need for healthy drinking water in a modern way we at Hardik Herbals prepare a refreshing herbal beverage by exploring the rich ancient wisdom of infusing natural herbs into safe drinking water.

The Constitution

The constitution of the unit is proprietorship and Mrs. Meera Murali is the proprietor of the unit. The promoter is presently growing required herbal/ medicinal plants in her Farm along with Arecanut, Coconut, Rubber and various spices / medicinal plants. She is a Science Graduate (B.Sc) and completed her MBA in Banking and Finance. She is having experience Traditional Herbal recipe/beverage development as her hobby. She is strongly supported by her Husband and other Family members in this venture and other than this her husband Mr. Muralidhara K who already got skill cum technology training in Production Technology of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants CSIR- CIMAP Research Center, GKVK, Bangalore. He will be the Chief Operating Manager in this total project. He did his BBM, M.Com, PGDIM (PG Diploma In Investment Management) and Diploma In Export Management. Presently he is successfully running a wealth management and investment advisory firm called “Wealth Vision” at Puttur from last Seven Years.

Both of them are hailed from the agricultural background and both of their qualification and experiences will certainly add up to a professional foundation and surely show challenging opportunities in this Business Path. Along with these points, the promoter is backed up by her Father-In-Law Mr. K Subrahmanya Bhat ( progressive agriculturist) who has the immense practical knowledge of various cultivation practices of medicinal and Ayurvedic plants and its usages. He is the person who acts as a supporting pillar both in moral values and managerial aspects. His profound advise and guidance will definitely help the total project to have clear efficiency and vision in this particular field.

Scope

The Scope

Nowadays there is unlimited scope for the quality innovative healthy beverages around all segments of population irrespective of the age, gender, religion, and lifestyles. This Unit provides superior quality along with innovative concept through its targeted variety of herbal products to cater the large consumer market in a professional way. As the concept is unique one which also supports people’s health awareness and quenches their thirst with hygienically prepared traditional value drink with modern economy packs.

The choicest herbs included in the recipe of ‘SATVAM™’ Herbal drinking Water are

  • Nutgrass,
  • Amla,
  • Sarsaparilla,
  • Coriander,
  • Ginger,
  • Cloves
  • and Cardamom etc.

Ayurveda praises the combination of above herbs usage for balancing V?ta, Pitta, Kapha & Overall well-being of human health and this concept has been adopted in ‘Satvam’ herbal drinking water.

Location

The location of the Unit is at Mudraje, Kedila village, Bantwal Tq, D.K which is just 7.5km apart from Puttur and located near to B.C Road-Mani highway. And it is just 45kms from Mangalore and 40km from Sullia. It is the central place for Uppinangady, Puttur, Vittal and B.C Road. The particular factory building is attached to the promoter’s family’s more than 20 acres agricultural land where the promoter already started to grow the main herbal/ayurvedic ingredients which are the main raw materials for this herbal project.

If needed the surrounding agriculturists in the nearby area are interested to grow these herbal plants according to the need of this project by natural organic way of cultivation. In this way, this particular project directly generates employment opportunities to the local people and indirectly helps surrounding farmers. The project involves no air/sound/water/chemical pollutions and the bottle/ jar rinsed water will be used for the agricultural irrigation itself.

The promoter has the knowledge and intention to manage the rainwater harvesting and water refilling methodologies to balance and support natural ecosystem effectively. The most positive factor in this location is that, as a God’s gift this unit has the advantage of very good clean water resources in this open well as well as two new borewells.
